RRicardo holds a law degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Venezuela and a postgraduate degrees in Law, Private Sector Management, and Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of Hamline in Minnesota. He began his career as a trial attorney specializing in commercial matters before transitioning to an in-house counsel role at a commodity trading firm. Shifting his focus to international commerce and the maritime industry, Ricardo brings a generalist’s expertise in disciplines spanning dry and liquid bulk, support vessels, ship management, S&P, finance, and maritime insurance. After serving as a vessel operations manager and completing formal training at the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, he founded and led the chartering office of Luzar Trading. Currently, as Co-Founder and Director of Sagitta Marine SA, Ricardo is passionate about designing tailored, high-value solutions for clients’ complex logistics challenges.
